Often, conflicts are getting resolved in ordinary courts. This is usually time-consuming, costly, tedious, and mentally hard work. In addition, this rarely leads to a result that satisfies both parties.
Alternative: Mediation
Mediation has often proven to be a worthwhile alternative. The conflict with the parties is analysed in a structured process. The parties, guided by the mediator, then work out a solution that is acceptable to all parties and that is recorded in an agreement or a protocol.
